Knut and Thomas met when Knut was a weak little cub of 800 gram (about 28ounces). Thomas never gave up on Knut, carring for him day and night. Today, Knut weighs a whooping 200 pounds! Knut would have died without this man's help and Knut raised awareness for other Polar bears (species that is clearly insignificant to presidential candidate Senator John McCain's campaign).
